Asoduel is a two player word game you can play in the browser. Send a friend a link, and you are both on the same board in seconds. There is no app to install and no account to make.
Play live on one board
Tap Duel a friend live and send the link to anyone, in WhatsApp, a group chat or a text. When they open it, you both see the same sixteen words. Each time someone finds a group of four, it is theirs, and it disappears from the other board too.
A wrong guess locks you out for two seconds. That keeps the game about thinking, not tapping fast. Harder groups are worth more, so the player who finds more groups does not always win. A duel takes three minutes at most, and there is a rematch button at the end.
Or take turns, any time
Not online at the same time? Tap Play a board and send it. You play first, and Asoduel gives you a link to send. Your friend plays the same board whenever it suits them, an hour later or the next morning, and then you both see the scores side by side.
This works well across time zones and for friends who never answer straight away. It also works for a group chat, where everyone plays the same board and compares.
Why it works as a duel
Most word puzzles are played alone, and you share your result afterwards. Here the other player is part of the game. On a live board, every group your friend claims is a group you can no longer get, and every word they take off the board changes what is left for you.
The server checks every guess and keeps the clock, so nobody can see a group before they solve it, and nobody can fake a score.
No friend free right now
Ranked puts you live on a board with another player who is looking for a game. Win and you climb the leagues. There is also a daily puzzle you can play alone and send to a friend afterwards, so they can play the same day's board.
